The CiS – Faraday lectures are a termly lecture series on science and religion, funded as part of the activities of The Faraday Institute. The Durham University local group aims to provide opportunities for people in the North-East to discuss the relationship between science and faith through lectures, discussion groups, prayer meetings and social events. The Edinburgh group is a mix of scientists and interested non-scientists from many different disciplines and backgrounds. We meet somewhat irregularly and have hosted the Northern Conference in recent years.

CiS Ireland brings together those with an interest in science and faith on the island of Ireland. We hold regular meetings, including the God and Science Lectures in various locations in Ireland and our meetings are open to all who have a genuine interest in science-faith issues. A recently formed group, CiS Leeds aims to provide a forum for discussion of science – faith issues in Yorkshire. We meet together regularly at South Parade Baptist Church, Headingley, Leeds. For information about future events please e-mail John Lockwood.
The Liverpool Christians in Science group meets regularly at the Anglican Chaplaincy at Mulberry Court. CiS Manchester: The Manchester Science and Philosophy Group is a group aiming to provide an opportunity for people in and around the Manchester area to discuss science and faith in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
