Perry

Development Officer

Perry did his undergraduate degree in Geology-Biology at the University of Bristol, and an MSc in the Applied Molecular Biology of Infectious Diseases at The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.  He was involved as a research technician at Imperial College London working on a potential association with between multiple sclerosis and an infection. This was followed by research at Imperial and then UCL with the MRC Prion Unit into using immunotherapy to treat prion diseases (which include scrapie, BSE and CJD). He was most recently a research associate in Addictive Behaviours Group at the University of Kent.  He is now based in Canterbury, and also works part time as tutor at the Open University.

Perry is available to visit churches, CUs and other groups to speak about the work of CiS. You can also contact him if you are interested in planning any CiS activities in your area.
