Development Officer

In October 2004 Ruth Bancewicz was appointed as the CiS development officer. Her role is to reach students and young people who need help with science-faith issues, and to raise the profile of CiS in the UK.

Ruth did her undergraduate degree in genetics at the University of Aberdeen, and a PhD at Edinburgh University, based at the MRC Human Genetics Unit, working on eye development in zebrafish. She is now based in Cambridge, and also works part time at the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion

Ruth is available to visit churches, CUs and other groups to speak about the work of CiS. You can also contact her if you are interested in planning any CiS activities in your area.
